Winter Warmer andyzed1-at-yahoo - NN1 11Dec2002 4:58 AM (21 years 225 days ago) Being lucky enough to be within walking distance of the Racehorse, but being lazy enough to drive anyhow, I arrived in good time to allow my ears to defrost before the band took to the stage. Cue the dry ice ! Hang on, that's just the general fug as it appears that I am the only non-smoker in the place. Then on roll Northampton's finest, with the usual faces making up the crowd, they take a while to warm up (not surprisingly!). Botty seems strangely coherent! Good to see Curtis back behind the megaphone too. Tonight's guitars fuse to create a Headstone Wall of Sound. Great noise, and great new tune to round things off. Keep up the racket !
