Hi Peeps
Just an update on the gig.TICKETS ARE ON SALE at the more than reasonable price of 5 squid,either from me at fredryan-at-hotmail.com or the pubs White heart or the White horse(thats 2 pubs,not my altziemers).The name of the Welsh bands are BROWN THUNDER and DOCTOR RYTHM METHOD featuringCROSS YOUR HEART BRASS.

A fabulous night had by all. P Hex were stormingly fantastic, Wilson excellent. I do have to comment on the review here though ... The 'bloke from Bristol' was actually on his way to Builth for a short holiday and an excellent gig. He's a hard working musician, and NOT a sound engineer. We arrived in Builth at about 16.30 and found a rather fraggled Fred in the midst of an unfortunate let down on the sound front. The real sound engineer was not able to come. Our poor 'bloke from Bristol', (who's name is Neil), arrived at 18.30. He was dragged out of his car without a stop for a well deserved pint and taken to the hall. Being an all round good egg, he worked bloody hard at getting the PA working. He then spent the whole night keeping the sound going - oops, a lie - he did have 20 minutes off at one point! Thank you Neil for your hard work. It's a shame other's don't appreciate your efforts on your night off.
